Welcome to DD1420! Before proceeding to starting with the core material in Module 2, please visit the canvas page and take some time to read all the presented information and familiarize yourself with the information presented in the welcome meeting.
Please revisit some of the topics we discussed in lecture 1, such as the definitions of Machine Learning, what your motivations for studying Machine Learning are and to make sure you have understood the basic differences between supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
A second goal of Module 1 is for you to catch up on background knowledge. For this, we have prepared a summary of key background knowledge and a short revision of probability theory in the following chapter:
